Barbara Anne – A life changed by the power of Christ!

“When I walked into City Church in the storefront on Live Oak in the Fall of 2006, I suffered with many strongholds in my life –  including anger, unforgiveness, and unbelief. I had a hardened heart because I had rebelled against God. I was so far off course, although I had three Bibles in my house, I never even thought of picking one up to  read. I knew my life could be more than what I was experiencing, but I didn’t understand how, because I never knew what it meant to have a relationship with Christ.  ‘Because they rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High, therefore He brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was none to help.’ Psalm 107:11-12

After much love and discipleship and being in fellowship with the other members of the church, I was born again, baptized, and experienced the restoration of my innocence. Finally, through repentance of my sins, I found happiness, joy and blessings never imagined. ‘Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!’ Lamentations 3:22-23

Today with Jesus Christ – I have righteousness through faith, continued obedience to the Lord Almighty, complete surrender to the Lord Jesus, and the assurance that I am living the life I was created to live - in relationship with Jesus Christ! ‘That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven , and those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’ Phillipians 2:10-11″
